Fashion.at wedding party style tip 2019

Now is the time that people plan their weddings which became in the last years more and more up to three days events combining cocktail, the ceremony, dinner, party as well as recreational activities. For the following wedding party style tip, Fashion.at selected some pieces from new and upcoming fashion and beauty collections.

Let's start with the rosé colored top from the 'Wiener Geisha' (Viennese Geisha) collection Spring/Summer 2019 by Wiener Konfektion. The kimono shirt is made of recycled material from silk kimonos of retired geishas from Tokyo. Each of the pieces of the limited edition of shirts and dresses is unique. 'Wiener Konfektion' founder and designer Maria Fürnkranz-Fielhauer continues with 'Wiener Geishas' the Japanese tradition of re-using materials. On 21 March, Wiener Konfektion invites to the store at Westbahnstrasse 4 at the 7th district where guests can fold under guidance a crane in origami technique (details with video at Instagram). The crane is a symbol for longevity and good fortune. Photo: Pilo Pichler / © Wiener Konfektion.

The top from recycled kimonos is combined at the image with a signature piece by Austrian designer Lena Hoschek, a 'Bänderrock' (ribbon skirt) referencing traditional Austrian 'tracht' (folk costume); dirndl dresses and jackets are often decorated with such ribbons. For the special skirts, ribbons from various materials are sewn together. The brand Lena Hoschek has several lines; at 'Tradition', the designer incorporates the country's craftsmanship and tailoring for contemporary Austrian trachten. On view at the image is the 'Bänderrock Sommerfrische' from the Spring/Summer 2019 Tradition collection by Lena Hoschek. Photo: © Rares Peicu / @me_and_mango.

The 'Minou Eye Palette - Bronze' with shades in shell, antique rose, chiffon, hot stone and champagne quartz is from the new 'Ulla Johnson x Bobbi Brown' makeup collection, available in Austria at Douglas and bobbibrown.at from April. For her designs, fashion designer Ulla Johnson is inspired by her home New York and her travels.

The bikini is from the upcoming H&M Studio Spring/Summer 2019 collection 'The Glam Explorer', available from 21 March at selected stores and online. Géraldine Saglio is the stylist of the campaign which is inspired by the "...1975 French movie 'Le Sauvage' with Catherine Deneuve as a runaway bride on a tropical island..." such as stated at the press release (with campaign images).
