First looks of the new 'Antoinette's Garden' Spring/Summer 2021 collection by Lena Hoschek

Pastels, flower prints from France, cotton fabrics like seersucker, twill, and embroideries are signature ingredients of the new Lena Hoschek 2021 collection. The colors, dessins, weavings are strongly associated with the 18th century baroque, rococo lifestyle of the Austrian archduchess Marie Antoinette, the last Queen of France before the French Revolution. Lena Hoschek's collection 'Antoinette's Garden' makes think of the baroque 'return to nature' movement which was celebrated by Marie Antoinette in her private garden at Versailles. The propagated originally 'simple life' was re-fashioned by Marie Antoinette with couture interpretations of rural cloths.

On occasion of the birth of Lena Hoschek's daughter in May this year, the designer announces that selected looks from the collection will be adjusted for girls of the ages 1 to 6 years.
