Gift tip by Fashion.at: SOS Kinderdorf scarf from the 'Take Care' edition by Codello

The 2nd wave of the pandemic rolls over countries worldwide. Protecting people's health by reducing physical contacts is without any doubt a good strategy. But tightened Covid-19 measures and lockdowns have the negative side effect of weakening businesses and the job market. Communities have already in the beginning of the pandemic developed support programmes which promote for example the consumption of products by regional companies, artists and designers, or visits (when and where allowed) of culture and sport events, restaurants, cafés,... with the obligatory distance to others and always with masks. Strengthening the local economy by consuming regional products and services doesn't exclude the willingness to help people in countries far away from the own economic sphere. Ideally, it goes hand in hand.

In the last days, Fashion.at has started to search for ideas for Christmas gifts and found among others the scarf on view on this page from the 'Take Care' edition by the German brand Codello. Parts of the scarf's purchase will be donated to the international charity organization SOS Children's Villages (SOS Kinderdörfer). SOS Kinderdorf was founded 1949 in Imst, Tyrol in Austria and is today active all around the world where children need a home and support. SOS Kinderdörfer adjusts the projects after current demands in various countries. The money from the scarf's sales proceeds (10%) will support an SOS education project for adolescents at 32 locations in India.
