MQ Vienna Fashion Week preview: Ingried Brugger 'Petite Fleur At Large' will be presented on 8 September

Ingried Brugger is director of one of the country's most important art institutions 'Bank Austria Kunstforum' and stepped into fashion design several years ago in 2010 with focus on the relationship between fashion and art. Austrian traditional clothing 'tracht' is another essential theme in Brugger's work - symbolic therefore are flowers - as well as lifestyle in the province and in a metropolitan city. The new collection 'Petite Fleur At Large' zooms literally into the flower with pieces such as the athleisure-couture outfit on view on this page which shows a floral pattern made by sequins at the front of the skirt and the back of the satin bomber jacket. Femininity, erotic are central criteria of the designs. The new collection will be on show on 8 September 2020 at MQ Vienna Fashion Week.
