Christmas tip: Iconic bags from upcycled bouncy castles by Almdudler X gabarage

The Austrian herbal lemonade brand Almdudler cooperated with the Vienna-based upcycling design team of gabarage for a collection of iconic pieces made from recycled bouncy castles. Each of the pieces of the series of business bags (15" laptop), kulturBags, Bag2Go or pen bags is unique. The rainproof material of the bouncy castles shows the iconic Almdudler imagery which is strongly associated with leisure activities and fun. The brand image with the trachten pair (a couple in traditional Austrian clothing) is placed with parasols or loungers in restaurant outdoor areas, beach cafes or alpine ski hut terraces and belongs to the iconic visuals of the Austrian gastro landscape.

For the bags, the team of the social business design project 'gabarage' (founded 2002) cut the bouncy castle material and placed the visuals individually in appealing positions. Bags are one of the product groups of the upcyclers who give products a second life by designing for partners or for their own stores and online shop on gabarage.at furniture, lamps, or jewelry from recycled materials.
