Fall 2024/25 style on the slopes presented by Colmar in bright red

The opening dates for most ski resorts are already published on what is probably the best-informed source, as it's the official service site of the Austrian Tourist Office: https://www.austria.info/en-us/highlights/winter-openings/. December 6th is the most common date (fast checked by Fashion.at today). For some regions, such as Kitzbühel, the season begins in the last week of November. Not long to go for the people of Austria! The country is also known as the 'ski nation' because of its citizens' enthusiasm for winter sports.

Just in time for the new season, Italian fashion and sportswear brand Colmar presents a bright red highlight for the slopes. Visibility on the slopes can be achieved by using reflective materials and/or colors. Red is one of the best colors to be seen. Fashion.at looked through the current collection. Colmar blends for the ski jackets and pants from the Fall 2024/25 women's collection technology for the comfort of the wearer with elegance. The lightweight ski jackets and pants are made of waterproof materials that promote the exchange of heat between the body and the weather outside through the ergonomically designed clothing, which appears in the campaign presentation slightly reminiscent of the slope style of the late 70s and early 80s. Key features include a removable hood on several models and in the luxury version, a removable eco-fur trim. The jackets have one in common: a ski lift pass pocket.

In recent years, the start of the season has traditionally been accompanied by a debate in the Austrian media about the rising prices of ski passes, particularly the fact that these are becoming increasingly unaffordable for average Austrian families. The main reasons for this in the last two years were inflation and higher energy costs.
Tip: Several regions have already started selling online discount tickets, offering a price reduction of around 20% on earlier purchased tickets, such as Kitzbühel, where Colmar has - by the way - one of its shops alongside destinations such as Milan, Paris, Chamonix, or Cortina.
