Berlin Fashion Week 2025: Marina Hoermanseder x Vuse Premiere an Origami-Inspired Look

Exploring What's Next in Fashion

As the Paris Fashion Week Men's FW 2025/26 is currently in full swing (article), Fashion.at continues its focus on the activities of the 'Big Four' fashion capitals. Adding an interactive twist, the magazine features the Catwalk Chronicles Quiz—an engaging fashion quiz about the history of fashion weeks, powered by the AI chatbot Cytara. Today, Fashion.at took a deep dive into the fashion calendar to see what's coming next: Berlin Fashion Week from January 31st to February 3rd.

Berlin: A Rising Star in the CFDA Calendar
In the legendary calendar of the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA), only one city outside the "Big Four" fashion capitals is featured: Berlin. This recognition highlights Berlin's growing influence in the global fashion scene.

Berlin Fashion Week: A Key Player in the German-Speaking Fashion World
Since its debut in 2007, Berlin Fashion Week has become the most important fashion event in the German-speaking world. A hotspot for avant-garde design, innovation, and sustainability, it draws top designers, industry leaders, and fashion enthusiasts from across the globe. The efforts of the Fashion Council Germany since 2022, along with new opportunities for emerging designers through the prestigious Vogue Fashion Fund by Condé Nast—an initiative that has supported talent for two decades in partnership with the CFDA—have given the event fresh international momentum. This shift has reinforced Berlin's status as a dynamic force in global fashion. The event serves as a launchpad for emerging designers while also showcasing renowned names like Marc Cain and Marina Hoermanseder.

Marina Hoermanseder: A Visionary Designer with Global Recognition
Born in Austria and based in Berlin, Marina Hoermanseder has made a name for herself with her bold, avant-garde designs. Known for her signature leather corsets, intricate closures, and striking aesthetics, she has received numerous accolades, including the Modepreis der Stadt Wien, one of Austria's most prestigious fashion awards, in 2015. Her creations have graced international runways and been worn by celebrities (gallery of outfits worn by Kylie Jenner, Naomi Campbell, Jennifer Lopez,... on marinahoermanseder.com), further cementing her reputation. Hoermanseder has also collaborated with brands like Hyundai, BWT, Palmers, Rado, etc proving her ability to merge fashion with various industries.

The Exclusive Collaboration: Marina Hoermanseder x Vuse Origami Look
For Berlin Fashion Week 2025, Marina Hoermanseder has teamed up with Vuse, a global leader in the vaping industry, known for products free from tobacco, ash, and smoke odor. The designer will create an exclusive fashion piece inspired by the brand's signature origami design. Under the motto "Unleash the Power of Creativity," this collaboration blends Vuse's dynamic design philosophy with Hoermanseder's artistic vision. The result is yet to be seen, but is described as a striking creation of geometric shapes, vibrant colors and intricate folds - embodying the essence of both brands. Drawing inspiration from Vuse's origami aesthetic, particularly the Berry Blend flavor, Hoermanseder has crafted a piece that reflects her signature craftsmanship and experimental approach. The design will premiere during Hoermanseder's 10th-anniversary show at Berlin Fashion Week.
