Gastro tips from Vienna's green lung and from a city mountain: Café Klitzeklein and Café Schloss Cobenzl

The latest gastro tips concerned a new beach club at the Danube Canal and a cafe, restaurant at a historical garden in the Inner City of Vienna.

Today, Fashion.at came through the city's green lung, the Prater forest along Café Klitzeklein ('Klitzeklein' means 'very small') at the entertainment park Wiener Wurstelprater nearby Vienna Giant Ferris Wheel. The coffee booth received already a mentioning on Fashion.at on occasion of the opening in 2015; recently, Café Klitzeklein celebrated its third anniversary. Since the beginning several things have changed - the booth was extended by an own guest garden which is astonishing comfortable, the color of the writing 'cafe' on top of the booth was changed from white into signal red, and the menu contains currently dishes such as chive bread or in-between snacks like natural yoghurt with honey and nuts. The food and beverage offerings are constantly changing caused by seasons and the taste of the guests.

Also the second location presented on this page was already mentioned on Fashion.at as tip. Last year, Café Schloss Cobenzl organized special picnic events at the 382 meters high city mountain Cobenzl. Various changing events and event series happen at the wide area behind Cobenzl Rondell Café which is located at the rotunda with panorama view (images below). From autumn, Rondell Café as part of Schloss Cobenzl will be organized by the team of 'Weitsicht Cobenzl', later closed for around one and a half year for architectural reconstruction works - such as Fashion.at was told yesterday on a visit at the café, and will open again as renovated multifunctional gastronomy and culture destination.
