24 January 2019 Seefeld in Tyrol, Austria is internationally known from Olympic competitions and World Championships. From 19 February until 3 March 2019, athletes from all over the world will compete again in Seefeld at the 52nd FIS Nordic World Ski Championships in Seefeld. Yesterday, Fashion.at published an article about a special watch edition on occasion of the sports event. Today, Fashion.at throws light on new gastronomy hot spots in Seefeld: Max Bistro, Le Treize, Pauly. Brand new in Seefeld is the 'Max Bistro' at the recently opened hotel 'Das Max'. The bistro serves on 365 days through the year breakfast, brunch and snacks for 'to stay' or 'to go' for guests of the hotel, Seefeld citizens and visitors as well. The bistro serves as social hub where an open community can meet. The architects of the interior concept and design of the hotel as well as of the 'Max Bistro' is the 'Meissl Architects' team around the siblings Alexander Meissl and Carola Meissl-Handle who focused on an open-minded, uncomplicated, innovative urban-alpine style. "At MAX Bistro, the boundaries between fun, entertainment, work and culture are blurring - here is the heart and the social hub of the hotel, where our community comes to life," said Arch. Prof. Carola Meissl-Handle. Prof. Carola Meissl-Handle.). fig. above: Insights into the 'Max Bistro' at the lifestyle hotel 'Das Max' in Seefeld in the Austrian Federal State Tyrol. Photos: © Alexander Maria Lohmann. The 'Max Bistro' dishes are created by internationally active gourmet consultant Armin Leitgeb who runs the own alpine cuisine restaurant 'Le Treize', which opened in December 2018 in Seefeld. At the end of last year, the Meissl Architects received for the new Italian restaurant 'Pauly' in Seefeld the prestigious 'German Design Award 2019' in the category 'Retail Architecture'; the timeless modernity of the "...communicative stand-up bar for a quick espresso, a cozy lounge corner for a relaxed aperitif and the chic restaurant area..." convinced the jury (source). fig. below: Portraits of Meissl Architects Arch.
