21 April 2019 Yesterday, Fashion.at visited the 'Easter Market of Fine Things' at the N°3 Salon at Kursalon Bad Vöslau (open also today) where design products, beauty and culinary such as delicious high-quality honey* products by Imkerei Wieser led by beekeeper master Erich Wieser or new beer from Lower Austria were presented. fig.: Markus Geiger of the private brewery 'P3 Perchtoldsdorfer Privatbräu' introduced into the making of the beer 'Burgwächter' (transl. 'Castle Guardian') and the history of beer making in the Lower Austria region of Perchtoldsdorf which is known rather for wine. Perchtoldsdorf is located in the south of Vienna and is one of the favorite destinations of the Viennese for short trips with adjoined visits of wine taverns. Already in the 19th century, Perchtoldsdorf had an own beer brewery which closed in the early 20th century. The P3 Perchtoldsdorfer Privatbräu was founded 2016; in 2018, the brewery developed a new concept and presented the 'Burgwächter' which can be compared in the taste with craft beer. Burgwächter has a full, round aroma. Markus Geiger announced a special edition on occasion of Bier Papst (transl. Beer Pope) Conrad Seidl's upcoming new annual 'Bier Guide' (release in the next days). On view at the image are also beer packages dressed up in traditional Austrian 'Trachten'-pants; the knit-pieces were especially made for the Easter market presentation. 'Burgwächter' is currently starting up and still an insider tip; the beer is available at selected shops and restaurants.
