Vienna insight: Christmas market at the Spanish Riding School

The horse stables are visible from the market area. Today opened the warmly in red light staged Christmas Market 'Advent in der Stallburg' (free entry) at the courtyard of the stables of the Spanish Riding School in Vienna. It's the first time that the Spanish Riding School invites to an Advent market at the impressive courtyard.

The circular bar is surrounded by booths with culinary specialities like honey, chocolate or tagliatelle spiced with safran by the in Dürnstein, Lower Austria based Wachauer Safranmanufaktur or chutneys, mustards, cereals,.. made from Kornelkirsche (cornelian cherry) - the plant is called in Austria also 'dirndl', by Dirndl Haus.
