5 September 2022 With school starting today, the summer holidays in Vienna are officially over! For keeping the sunshine of the last months and a Mediterranean flair in the kitchen, Fashion.at prepared a simple dish with few ingredients and short preparation and cooking time: Pasta al limone.
Recipes for the pasta sauce found online vary especially concerning the amount of cream and parmesan as well as the used spice (nutmeg) and herb (basil).
Basics of the recipe are spaghetti, heavy cream, parmesan, and the name giving lemon. Fashion.at used thinner spaghetti - spaghettini - less heavy cream but more parmesan than in several recipes recommended and spiced the sauce with nutmeg, without basil.
