Vienna Design Week calls for creative concepts in the field 'Urban Food and Design' with focus on sustainable retail and production (applications until 10 May 2022)

Ideas are silver, practical concepts are gold. It's not easy to follow the trend to realize ideas without collaboration with already existing companies. So, many prefer another approach for the start of the own business by searching for partners.

Vienna Design Week in collaboration with the 'Wirtschaftsagentur Wien' (the 'Vienna Business Agency' is a fund of the City of Vienna for the economic development of businesses, start-ups) offer for last mentioned approach to start or extend the own business opportunities to get in touch with possible partners at the 'Ask Me Anything-Sessions' between 26 April and 3 May (details and contact for the registration - until 25 April - at viennadesignweek.at/info/open-calls/urban-food-design-2022/).

This year's projects reach from sustainable ideas for food retail to responsible mass customization of snacks. The Ask Me Anything-Sessions where interested creators can ask representatives of companies are the supportive part of the call for concepts which ends on 10 May. At viennadesignweek.at, the company's tasks for inspiring creative concepts with focus on environmentally friendly retail and production are published. For example in the field of food retail, one of the questions is about packaging in context with delivery and the storage requirements of the goods. For the ones who are interested in the creation of snacks, one of the questions concerns the transition of mass production to sustainable, individualized production.
