The bets for the upcoming UEFA European Football Championship - Euro 2024 - show two clear favorites: England and France. Austria is not among the top teams in today's bookmakers' rankings. However, it's already an achievement to be one of the 24 teams that will play in ten different stadiums in ten different cities in Germany from June 14 to July 14, starting with the Munich Football Arena and ending with the final at the Olympiastadion in Berlin. The dates of the matches, including statistics on wins and goals, are published on https://www.uefa.com/euro2024/. The first match of the Austrians will take place on June 17 against one of the two favorites - France. On the Uefa site, where the details of the match are published, there is a poll about the expected winner. Currently, the number of votes for France is about three times higher than for the Austrian team. This day will most likely be one of the Euro public viewing days in Vienna, for which it is better to reserve early to get a place like in the 'Salettl', which is known for its sandy beach setting in the area of the old campus of the University of Medicine. This year, the Euro will be broadcast on twelve large monitors at the 'Summer Camp', as the beach-like area has been called since it's inception in 2019. The Salettl has already opened it's online table reservations for the Euro. Image: View of the Summer Camp at the Salettl in the 9th district of Vienna at Alser Straße 4.
