What are the messages of sign systems such as Gothic, Punk? Do they change with time and culture? Can the mass media report objectively on terrorism?... Norwegian artist Gardar Eide Einarsson investigates different art media and how art can serve to emphasize transversal readings and connections between materials of very different kinds. With his drawings, paintings, videos and sculptures he makes us understand the permanent negotiation of different cultural and social backgrounds we are living in. This exhibition is the first major solo presentation of the Norwegian artist Gardar Eide Einarsson, who is based in New York. more culture >>>
