Patti Smith organizes the program of the Nomadic Nights from March through June 2008 accompanying to her exhibition Land 250 at Fondation Cartier pour l’art contemporain in Paris with various musicians and poets to perform on stage.

One of these musicians is Jeffrey Lewis, 32 years old, living in New York. The musician, cartoonist and producer releases his low-budget videos with punk-folk sound on the Internet such as "Had it All" youtube.com/watch?v=oEeYKQp6F38

Since 2001 he has recorded four albums with Rough Trade Records. Jeffrey Lewis is influenced by the New York’s music scene, from Lou Reed to John Peel and The Fugs.
