MCA store The Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago collected for the shop some funny pieces such as a cosy Teddy Bear with a lamp instead of the head, the 2009 Bubble Calendar with a bubble to pop every day, or the Greenaid Bag. With this bag you can fight to combat plastic bags! It is packed in a neoprene shell; when you unzip the shell you can pull out a reusable shopping bag. The shell has a clip so the bag can be taken everywhere. The Greenaid bag is created by Lovegrove & Repucci, the design collaborative by Nicholas Lovegrove and Demian Repucci (since 2003). Their furniture, bags, tableware, ... are influenced by the lifestyle and culture of the United States and Europe such as the New York and London Delft (the word comes from the Dutch city which was famous for the blue and white porcelain from the 16th until the 18th century) Tableware on the video below. Check out the MCA store for the Greenaid bag by Lovegrove & Repucci mcachicago.org. Find out more pieces with humour such as the Fidobag, luggage in the form of a dog, or the Concerto Table that provides a docking slot for your iPod. This table is made for the ones who have forgotten their piano lessons lovegroverepucci.com.
