Prominent judges for fashion prize
In mid-2012, the German/French fashion label Augustin Teboul presented the SS2013 collection and received attention by German Vogue Chief Editor Christiane Arp and Melissa Drier from Women's Wear Daily.
Now in mid-October 2012, the designers of Augustin Teboul, Annelie Augustin and Odély Teboul, were selected by prominent jury members like Kenzo Takada (founder of Kenzo - on the image left), Lorenz Baumer (designer of Louis Vuitton jewellery - on the image in the middle between Augustin and Teboul), Chantal Thomass (right beneath Teboul), Nathalie Rykiel (CEO of Sonia Rykiel - right from Thomass), to name four from the list of judges for this year's 'Dorchester Collection Fashion Prize'.
The ceremony was held at Hôtel Plaza Athénée, one of the luxury hotels of the Dorchester Collection with destinations in Europe and US such as The Dorchester in London or The Beverly Hills Hotel in California.
"Through the Fashion Prize, Dorchester Collection aims to provide a strong foundation for upcoming designers on which to build their brand and we're inspired by the creativity coming to the fore. Dorchester Collection has an illustrious association with fashion and in launching its Fashion Prize became the first luxury hotel company to bestow such a prestigious award," said Christopher Cowdray, Dorchester Collection's chief executive officer.
