Street art in Bratislava
...seen on 9 September 2012 by Karin Sawetz.
fig. clockwise:
The creative bike rack stands in the old town of Bratislava. The sculptural part of the rack shows a bike in 19th century style of the first 'bicycles' with high wheel in the front and small wheel backwards.
Latin writing 'Ecce Panis Angelorum' (Behold the Bread of Angels) over a religious scenery. The phrase references the 'Eucharist' - the Christian ceremony materializes through bread breaking and wine (and eating and drinking) what is not visible: the believe that god is in all humans. (View the detail of the scenery and writing below.)
Colorful street art showing a friendly ghost with brush (probably the street artist him- or herself as 'phantom'); seen on the way from the castle to the old town in Bratislava.
