Ball gown selection for 'L'Esprit Viennois' In November 2013, New Year Eve dance event 'Le Grand Bal' director Renate Danler visited the couture department of Steffl in Vienna for the selection of this year's dress. The ball debuted last year with the theme 'Nuit de l'Amour' at the baroque architecture of the Hofburg. In its second year in 2013, 'Le Grand Bal's theme references the spirit of Vienna - 'L'Esprit Viennois' - which is expressed quite good in fashion that links to art, avantgarde and cultural heritage. Renate Danler selected a dress from Anelia Peschev's collection 'Klimt florum' (Klimt of flowers); the collection derives its inspiration from the work of painter Gustav Klimt - once an avantgarde artist whose works belong today to the 'classical' pieces ('The Kiss') of modern art. 'Le Grand Bal' hasn't unveiled yet which dress was chosen by Renate Danler. Fashionoffice received several images; FO's favorite dresses are depicted on this page - the red (image right) and the lilac (picture below)! fig.: The images show 'Le Grand Bal' director Renate Danler during her selection of gowns from Anelia Peschev's 'Klimt florum' collection at the couture department of Steffl in Vienna for this year's dance event on 31 December 2013.
