Trend 2013: selfies. Trend 2014: action video selfies?

2013 was the year of selfies! Prominent producers of selfies in press like US President Barack Obama, UK Prime Minister David Cameron and Danish Prime Minister Helle Thorning-Schmidt who shot their self-portrait at the funeral of Nelson Mandela in Johannesburg in South-Africa made the culture of selfies 'official'.

In 2014 follows probably the next step: selfies made from moving pictures. One of the favorite genres for postings on social media profiles are action sport videos from biking or surfing such as seen at the YouTube channel of action camera producer Rollei. For more professional action selfie producers, the video by the German label about the editing software Corel will be interesting (watch it below). For the Boat show from 18 to 26 January 2014 in Düsseldorf, Rollei announces the launch of the Actioncam S-30 WiFi (photo on this page) and the presentation of several accessories for holding cameras such as on the bike or an arm extension.
