Arts & Crafts market and workshops at porcelain manufactory Augarten in Vienna

Today is the opening day of Vienna Fashion Week (Fashionoffice reported - article), and the next design and arts & crafts events were already announced such as Vienna Design Week which will run from 25 September until 4 October, and the Arts and Crafts market (25 - 27 September) at porcelain manufactory Augarten.

On the same day when Vienna Design Week opens, the first ever Arts and Crafts Market (Kunsthandwerksmarkt) at the baroque garden of the Viennese porcelain manufactory Augarten (founded 1718) will start with ceramics & porcelain by artisans from Austria and neighboring countries like Germany, Italy or Hungary. The Kunsthandwerksmarkt Augarten will be open from 25 until 27 September between 10:00 and 18:00. It's announced that the ceramics & porcelain pieces will range from folksy ceramics to artful porcelain dishes and sculptures.

Additionally to the market, guests can visit the Augarten porcelain museum, taste traditional culinary from the former crown lands of the Habsburg Monarchy and the Austro-Hungarian Empire at cafe/restaurant Augarten, or attend porcelain painting workshops.

The dates for next year's Arts and Crafts Market are scheduled: 10 to 12 June 2016.
