Sam Smith, Lewis Hamilton, Christoph Waltz, Marc Newson... received this year's GQ Men Of The Year Awards

Sam Smith, interpreter of the theme song 'Writing's on the Wall' (release 25 September) of the upcoming Bond movie 'Spectre', received the 'Solo Artist Award' sponsored by Cîroc Vodka at the GQ Men Of The Year Awards celebration yesterday at The Royal Opera House in London. The GQ Awards were held in association with HUGO BOSS. The list of this year's winners from sports, entertainment, politics or design include F1 champion Lewis Hamilton (category Sportsman), Oscar winner Christoph Waltz (category Actor) or design genius Marc Newson (Creative Icon). The list is published with short biographies and reasons for the selection such as Marc Newson's collaborative design of the Apple Watch. The list is published on gq-magazine.co.uk.
