Preview of jewellery and events at Wiener Schmucktage from 3 to 7 November in Vienna

Viennese jewellery artists invite to come-together events and tours with culinary, workshops, lectures on occasion of the Wiener Schmucktage (Vienna Jewellery Days) from 3 to 7 November. The styles of the artists range from goldsmith over lace and paper works to upcycled designs.

fig. clockwise: Goldsmith Sabine Bomm's two rings (from 2015) are enriched with yellow brilliants and diamond roses. The rings have the appeal of Middle Ages meet early 21st century; but this lies in the eyes of the viewer.

On 3 November several Wiener Schmucktage openings with various programs happen through Vienna; Sabine Bomm presents her new collection 'Winterreise' (inspired by ice and snow) together with artworks by Kirsten Lubach and culinary at her Goldmanufaktur at Weihburggasse 21 from 17:00 to 24:00.

The green bracelet (from 2014) by Silvia Fedorová is made of plastic coated copper, nylon. The artist's textile art jewellery will be on show at Galerie V&V where Silvia Fedorová will demonstrate how to make lace for jewellery on 3 November (18:00 - 20.00).

The bluejean handmade-paper bracelet (from 2014) with cotton thread and magnetic by Beatrix Mapalagama will be on view at PapierWespe. On 3 and 5 November, Beatrix Mapalagama will lecture about 'Paper as Transformer' at artup unique products.

The playful necklace (from 2015) by Carin Fürst is made of plastic, recycled material. Carin Fürst's work can be found at artup unique products; opening starts already at 15:00 o'clock. Carin Fürst will hold several workshops about upcycling during Wiener Schmucktage.
