2 May 2016 The Austrian stores (Vienna, Salzburg) of the international photo and art gallery chain Lumas sent some tips for postcards greetings for persons who love art. Karl Lagerfeld or Elvis Presley are characters of the superhero series by artist Pierre-Adrien Sollier who photographs at first Playmobil figures, then reworks the images on the computer with Photoshop, and in the third step, Sollier paints the Playmobil portraits with oil on canvas. There lies a functionality in these Playmobil figure art works - as if the depicted icons' functionality as orientation points is repeated in the form of practical toys.
