'Puppy' by designer Eeron Aarnio in new interpretations - from fashion punk to hope pisser, for Austria's largest aid campaign 'Licht ins Dunkel'

Currently, users can vote online for three favorite puppy interpretations on area.at/hoffnungswauwau. From the user selections, the top 33 puppies - originally designed by Eero Aarnio, will be auctioned on 13 December at the ORF TV-studio in Salzburg in cooperation with the auction house Dorotheum. The money will be donated to Austria's largest aid campaign 'Licht ins Dunkel'. Organizer of the puppy charity is the architecture, interior design, and space planning company 'Area'. Since the beginning of 'Licht ins Dunkel', the Austrian public broadcaster ORF supports the campaign for funding projects which help people with disabilities, families and children.

The presented collection of puppies is manifold; from styled up fashion puppies such as punk 'Eddy' by Salzburger Festspiele to classical toys like the rocking puppy 'Hüa!' by designaustria, the re-interpretations by well-known Austrian institutions and young brands from architecture, media, design to fashion, spread hope; and one does it literally: the hope pisser 'Hoffnungspisser' by Tzou Lubroth Architekten.
