22 June 2018 Recently on 19 and 20 June, the students of the Viennese fashion school Modeschule Hetzendorf presented the wide range of the education programme - from textile design over knitting, fashion design, tailoring, product design of bags, accessories, shoes, to the crafts of hat making, with fashion shows under this year's motto 'Perspektiven' concerning the various angles or point of views on trends and their interpretations. The motto could be understood in a double meaning as well as the education offers the chance to work in various professional fields. Aurelia Hammerschmidt (at the image right in the middle) for example won the competition of the Austrian label Think! (belongs to Legero) for the best design of shoes. The prototype of Hammerschmidt's design was presented at the school's final shows. The men's shoes will be available next Spring/Summer 2019 at Think!. fig. from left: Simone Unhaller (manager at Think!), Aurelia Hammerschmidt (student at Modeschule Hetzendorf, product design shoes) holds the prototype of her design of men's shoes, and Monika Kycelt (Director of Modeschule Hetzendorf). The selected gilet will be produced for around 100 employees and will be worn on occasion of special events. |
