26 April 2018 Fashion influencers are the emancipated versions of models-stylists-writers powered by social media which opened the gates for self-determined work - especially for women. Independent from agencies or chief editors, the women have become increasingly their own bosses and have now the chance to express themselves through their self-created publications where they show personal taste, the ability to percept, propagate new trends and publish preferred images of themselves. The new technologies for bloggers, influencers have deliberated many women from an outmoded fashion system - and the industry is backing the new role allocations. Recently, McArthurGlen Designer Outlets (24 outlets in 9 countries) started the Spring/Summer 2018 Trend Campaign with 22 influencers from five countries (UK, IT, NL, DE, AT) dedicated to the European locations. The Austrian designer outlets (Parndorf nearby Vienna and Salzburg) present the new trends with Vienna-based influencer Vicky Heiler (image right) of bikinisandpassports.com and Nina Wrodnigg (living in Salzburg) of yourockmylife.com. Both are professionals in media, fashion and lifestyle with higher education degrees as background of their work. It's announced that the current influencer pages on McArthurGlen (Vicky Heiler, Nina Wrodnigg) showing the new trends with closer descriptions, images and additional video will be on view until 15th May. fig. from left: The Austrian influencers Nina Wrodnigg and Vicky Heiler collaborate with McArthurGlen Designer Outlets in Europe for the Spring/Summer 2018 Trend Campaign.
