Life Ball presented this year's Style Bible as homage to 'The Sound of Music' with Austrian musicians in Salzburg

Each Life Ball is accompanied by a Style Bible - a photo book with short texts, showing outfits and styling inspired by the annually changing topics of the HIV/AIDS charity event. In 2018, Life Ball pays tribute to the musical 'The Sound of Music' and the story of the Austrian Trapp family who lived in Salzburg and had to escape from the NAZI regime. Traditional Austrian clothing in various interpretations is on view at the Style Bible 2018 which can be read online and is available as printed book in stores and online via Verlag für moderne Kunst. Life Ball organizer Gery Keszler states at the Style Bible: "The moving story of the von Trapp family - their music, their family cohesion, but also their dramatic escape from a system based solely on exclusion and fear is a metaphor for what still defines the world of today." and he speaks about the meaning of traditional clothing which changes with society.
