23 April 2019 The Egon Schiele Museum exhibition 'Egon Schiele Private' (until 3 November, in Tulln, Lower Austria) invites visitors to an exploration of the private life of artist Egon Schiele who was born 1890 in Tulln. Main attraction at the biographical show are the interviews with the sisters of Egon Schiele held by award winning US American art historian and Schiele expert Alessandra Comini in 1963 when she traveled to Austria and followed the artist's traces. At the website schielemuseum.at, Alessandra Comini introduces (in German, English subtitles) via video into her researches, findings (such as the prison where Egon Schiele was incarcerated), and the interviews presented at the museum in Tulln. Important places of Schiele in Tulln can be explored outside of the museum at a tour through the city. It's announced that Alessandra Comini will speak at the special event 'Feminism of my own' on 13 June at the Egon Schiele Museum in Tulln.
