Jury of professionals selected the Austrian State Prize Design 2019 finalists such as self-charging eBike Vello

On 25 September, this year's winners of the Austrian State Prize Design (Staatspreis Design) will be presented with award ceremony and exhibition which opens on that day at Museumsquartier in Vienna. In early July, the jury selected 27 designs from 276 submitted works as finalists in the categories Product Design, Interior Design, and Design Concepts.

The shortlist of design projects such as the Red Dot Design Award winning self-charging electric folding bike 'Vello' by Valentin Vodev Designstudio, the interior design of 'Salon Sacher' by BWM Architekten und Partner (article), or the concept and design for the MAK exhibition 'Beauty' by Sagmeister & Walsh (article) is published at staatspreis-design.at.

It's announced that a catalog will accompany the Staatspreis Design 2019 exhibition.
