16 November 2019 KaDeWe in Berlin is one of the largest department stores in Europe. Yesterday, the new windows with Christmas staging under the motto 'Get Ready For Christmas' premiered. The main roles at the festive sceneries play nutcrackers which were especially designed for KaDeWe. The nutcrackers appear in various sceneries and stylings from adults to kids in company of mannequins wearing the latest fashion. On view on this page is for example the world of eSports and urban life referencing window showing a male nerd-nutcracker standing beside a Rubik's cube-like Christmas tree sculpture, a large screen with the writing 'Game Over', an e-scooter and a mannequin wearing a sports-jacket over a t-shirt in combination with jeans, sneakers and on the head a VR-headset. The KaDeWe window stories are continued online at kadewe.de/en/fashion/christmas-2019/ where fashion items with closer description are worn by living models instead of window mannequins.
