Viennese fashion school Modeschule Hetzendorf organized the first 'Friday For Fashion Future' day

The Viennese fashion school 'Modeschule Hetzendorf' (named after the location Castle Hetzendorf where the school resides) sent an insight into its first ever 'Friday For Fashion Future' day which happened in late February. The students and teachers developed together in the first step as part of the ethic lessons ideas about sustainability and environmentally friendly behaviour in fashion and then realized in the respective education programmes concepts for running a climate day at the school. The result was a mix of sensitization and practical implementation. Films, talks, discussions concerning themes like zero waste, water resources, plant dyes or slow fashion, as well as a vintage market or workshops for recycling scraps of fabrics from clothing production were organized for the 'Hetzendorf - Friday For Fashion Future' day on 28 February. The culinary served on that day was vegan.
