Austria Insight: Online booking service for chalets which can be used for combined vacation and remote working
Today, the Austrian government announced that the lockdown for gastronomy, hotels, sport and culture events will end in the second half of May. From 19 May, it's again allowed to visit for example as a tourist a hotel. For achieving the new freedom and keeping at the same time the virus out of restaurants, hotels, sports clubs,..., the government introduced the 'Green Pass' which carries information about the pass holder's Covid-19 situation such as tests, Covid-19 vaccinations, or the recovery from a coronavirus infection. The 'Green Pass' makes the entry to locations where many people meet possible.
Even when the situation begins to relax in the next month and 'living in isolation' will hopefully fall soon in oblivion, Fashion.at searched for holiday destinations where it's possible to live embedded into nature and comfortably secluded from the hurly-burly of a metropolitan city. The found destinations have an additional favor: The prices are affordable which makes the vacation destinations also interesting for the ones who can work remotely.
At farmholidays.com or in German language at urlaubambauernhof.at, users can search countrywide after chalets (in German 'Almhütten') with additional filters like 'babies and kids' or 'barrier-free'. Many of the currently offered alpine buildings can be found in the Austrian federal states Salzburg, Styria, and Carinthia. The range of chalets reaches from very rustic small houses over elegant chalets to modern interpretations of the traditional alpine mountain hut.
