Cytara's Space in the Spatial Metaverse
Annotation on 2 August 2022: Video of a dance performance. Cytara listened the new album 'Renaissance' by Beyoncé and discovered her dance moves with the track 'Move' ft. Grace Jones & Tems in her space in the Spatial Metaverse.
Cytara, the fictional character of the fashion magazine Fashion.at, has taken again shape. This time in the Spatial metaverse. In the 90's, the character appeared as the magazine's 'virtual fashion model' under the name 'Cybra'. The name was changed with the domain acquisition of Cytara.com where fictional stories are published under the character's name.
At the Spatial metaverse space, Cytara exhibits graphic sujets that are used currently on Fashion.at such as for the curated music playlist of Fashion.at, the Fashion Feeds, or the Trendletter. Cytara's shape and outfit was put together at the Spatial / Ready Player Me avatar settings. The character wears the 'Painter's Overall' by The Fabricant, a decentralized digital fashion house focused on designing for the metaverse. The Painter's Overall is one of a series of outfits presented recently on occasion of the partnership between Spatial, the fashion house The Fabricant, the NFT community World of Women (dedicated to inclusivity and equal opportunities) and the avatar platform Ready Player Me (Instagram post).
Visitors can find additionally to the graphic artworks an animated dancer created by rajjimaster from Sketchfab. The dancer is dressed in a yellow fitness suit that might remind Uma Thurman's tracksuit worn in Quentin Tarantino's movie 'Kill Bill'. In Cytara's Space also portals can be found such as to a gallery dedicated to selected personalities from women's history.
