Pride Month 2022 in Vienna: LGBT-guide, film documentary, Rainbow Parade and Pride Run
On occasion of Pride Month 2022, the Vienna Tourist Board (since 25 years member of the IGLTA - International Gay & Lesbian Travel Association) presented the practical extension 'LGBT-Guide' in German and English of the award winning 'ivie' app (the digital city guide received an 'iab webAd' award by iab Austria) for an exploration tour to special locations like fashion and book stores, bars, museums,... under the motto 'Through Vienna on the rainbow' and the short film documentary 'Queens of Vienna' about the life of three drag queens with memories about the coming out, the reaction of others, or the feeling of changing through makeup, clothes, wigs.

The around 10-minutes film was shot at prominent locations in Vienna, at Schloss Schönbrunn, the Belvedere, the Burgtheater, at the cinema Gartenbaukino or the Ernst Fuchs Museum for glossy magazine-like pictures showing them dressed up in vogueish style - and literally voguing when posing by performing dance moves in front of the camera.
