Kitchen design by Neuvermoebelt wins Archiproducts Design Sustainability Award

Austrian design duo Manuela Freigang and Christian Bachmann of Neuvermoebelt have received the prestigious Archiproducts Design Award (ADA) for their innovative 'Tiny Kitchen'. The modular kitchen, which combines sustainability with versatility, won the Sustainability Award in the Kitchen category.

The award was given to the 'Office' version of the Tiny Kitchen, which is made from eco-friendly materials, including fast-growing bamboo interiors and colorful linoleum exteriors, with durable, repairable appliances designed to last for decades. The jury of international eco-design experts praised the kitchen for its commitment to reducing environmental impact and promoting circular design principles. Jury members included Matteo Ward, co-founder of Fashion Revolution Italia and textile expert for the European Commission for the New European Bauhaus (more information on awards.archiproducts.com).

This marks a milestone for Neuvermoebelt™, which began as an 'Ikea hacking' company in 2018. While the company continues to offer custom Ikea upgrades, the 'Tiny Kitchen' is its first fully self-designed and produced kitchen solution. Available at the Neuvermoebelt showroom in Vienna, the award-winning design exemplifies the company's commitment to affordable, sustainable, and innovative furniture.
