This is the first time that any museum in the Netherlands has held an exhibition of Jürgen Lehl's extraordinary fabric designs and their use in the shawls and other clothing which he designs. Although Lehl (1944) has a German background, he has lived and worked ever since 1971 in Tokyo, Japan.
