From November 24th to April 23rd 2000 the Guggenheim Museum Bilbao will host an unprecedented exhibition, The Art of the Motorcycle, an exploration of motorcycles as cultural icons and as a paradigm of design and technology. The exhibition is an account of the most fascinating moments in the evolution of motorcycle technology and design, in a historical and cultural context.

The exhibition installation was designed by Frank O. Gehry, one of the most outstanding architects worldwide and creator of one of the masterworks of universal architecture, the Guggenheim Museum Bilbao. This Guggenheim Museum Bilbao temporary exhibition has been made possible thanks to a generous contribution from BMW. The Art of the Motorcycle is also sponsored by Motociclismo magazine.
