The fashion magazine Sportswear International (international trade magazine for jeans and young fashion) has launched the new edition in October at Frankfurt's Book Fair.

The Denim Bible provides you with fascinating anecdotes a look behind the scenes of the history of jeans until now: the history of jeans began with the Bavarian-born Levi Strauss who came to America in 1847 and developed the practical pants for the workers in the "Californian Gold Rush"-mines. Today, everybody wear jeans and the fabric "denim" still transports connotations which are central in the work of designers.
