Candace Kennedy explains her fascination with the rare artifacts of the 18-19th Century. “For me, the most enchanting part of my antique gaming counter jewelry is that each piece is so deliciously rich in legend, folklore and mystery. Every piece has been passed along for many generations, traveled many, many thousands of miles and now is an inspired, unique treasure to be worn for many centuries to come.”

In December 2005 Candace discovered her first Chinese gaming counter. So inspired by the concept of designing artifact jewelry, Candace K designs was launched in 2006.
