Today you have to meet the life style and philosophy of other cultures to be up to date in our global world of fashion and taste Mongolia, Ghana, Senegal, Peru, India, Afghanistan, South-America,... all these cultures you can find in Graz, the capital city of Styria, Austria. The designer group PELL MELL explores since 2004 the influences of different cultures on fashion. They started with a workshop; a fashion show together with students from the Graz Fashion School followed. This year 6 persons opened their wardrobes to the designers: Bambo Rauter (Senegal) for designer Lena Hoschek; Carlos Escobar (Peru) for Julia Jeschek; Pawan Kohli (India) for Karin Wintscher-Zinganel (Kay double U); Bolor Choidogjamts (Mongolia) for Yü-Dong Lin (ni-ly); Mama Lee (Ghana) for Alexandra Pötz (ap_another passion); Djanali Mohammadi (Afghanistan) for designer Bettina Reichl (Odrowaz). The show is accompanied by short video interviews in which insight is given into the life style of the 6 inspiring persons.
