Fashion Awards fall 2007

On 6 November 2007 couturier Valentino gives the El Botón-Mango Fashion Awards to the Belgian based design duo Sandrina Fasoli (Italy) & Michaël Marson (Belgium) (sandrinafasoli.com). The young designers received with the Mango Fashion Award a prize of 300.000 euros. exhibition, catwalk>>>

The winner: both graduated from the École nationale des Arts visuels de la Cambre and have been awarded with several prizes such as “Modo Bruxellae” in 2006 or the first prize at the, Hyères Festival international des Arts de la Mode in 2003. Sandrina Fasoli & Michaël Marson had four months to create especially for the event a collection of 10 outfits. Along with the other finalists Txell Miras (Spain), Christian Wijnants (Belgium), Cathy Pill (Belgium), Felipe Oliveira Baptista (Portugal), Sadaharu Hoshino (Japan), Mikio Sakabe (Japan) and the partnerships formed by Clara Leskovar & Doreen Schulz (Germany); Sarah Swash & Toshio Yamanaka (resident in UK) and Sachiko Okada & Aaron Shariff (resident in UK).
