MATTHEW LANGILLE fall 2007

New York City based graphic artist/designer Matthew Langille has already designed artwork for over twenty fashion houses/design firms, including Marc by Marc Jacobs and Norma Kamali. Matthew's images have been featured in over twenty global publications. His artwork and designs are currently in demand from Australia and Japan to California and New York.

Q: "Matthew Langille's graphics are like comics: humorous and simple to understand. The stories show animals, food, "sunny" clouds - one of these clouds can be found on a t-shirt and shopper by Marc Jacobs in s/s 07. Why was this pattern chosen?"

A: "I don't have a good answer for why my cloud drawings are so popular. I am kind of addicted to drawing things hanging from clouds. I love the wittiness of it," Matthew Langille
