Vincent Licari 25 years old Baltimore-based couturier Vincent Licari creates gowns with his signature art touch for celebrating “sophisticated glamour with an edge”. Self taught, Vincent learned to sew by watching his mother and grandmother. In 2001, he sold his first design for $800 to a fashionista headed to a Baltimore gala. Today his works are the products of his knowledge of couture and Licari's the sense for modern art. Today his creations sell up to $9,500. Vincent will open his New York atelier this Spring. His recent show in Rome was called Night of the Bejeweled Pirates. Previous collections include The Garden of the 16th-Century Temptress and Chandelier.
