Mazooka
fall/winter 2008
Since August 2008 Berlin based fashion label Mazooka presents its latest collection “Interference”, which is inspired by the diversity of 20th century fashion decades, at the webshop on shop.mazooka.de and in the Mazooka Store Berlin at the Prenzlauer Berg.
Style Epoche Mix
You can find elements of different style epochs mixed together in this collection of t-shirts.
The shirts are based on abstracted representations of distinctive hairstyles. These initially subtle
shapes can be altered, combined and expanded by printed glasses, beards and further accessories
enabling the wearer to present an individual unique fashion statement on his shirt.
" ... today’s freedom in
combining and reinterpreting fashion statements ..." Hanno Bäucker
Similar to previous collections, the main focus of “Interference” is the abstract visualization of fashion
impulses of past decades and the customization of the shirts.
“With ‘Interference’ we want to connect to our ‘Heroes’ collection that demonstrated our adoration
for the idols of our youth in abstract forms. Now we are building connections between
the epochs that stylistically shaped us – and pay tribute to our fascination for today’s freedom in
combining and reinterpreting fashion statements,” says designer and founder Hanno Bäucker.
The Berlin streetwear label Mazooka, founded by Hanno Bäucker in 2002, stands for distinctive graphics.
Mazooka is characterized
by its graphical approaches and the integration of the
three-dimensional shape of the human body into the graphical results.
Almost all models are customizable to represent a unique style as to color and motif, and the positioning
of the graphical elements.
