MJÖLK
spring/summer 2009
Outfits for a modern
King of style
Melbourne (Australia) based designer Lars Støten combines for the new collection of Mjölk work/play wear and formal wear with a subtle edge. The voluminous silhouette is created by relaxed, pleated trousers and shorts, sleek shirting and larger jackets. For the first time the designer presents leather back packs.
Trousers hems and waistlines go up!
You will find out that the trousers hems and waistlines will go high in the next months; last seen in times of Jerry Lewis playing "The Nutty Professor" (1963). In contrast the body lengths in waistcoats and collarless jackets will be extended.
By tailoring elements of work/play wear in a classical way, Mjölk creates a paradox luxury that makes him renowned in the contemporary fashion world.
