"... naughty urban girls and boys ..."
Katie Rowland's love for typography and jewellery results in sensuous objects d’art; the profound inscriptions and tactile designs enable the wearer to interact with jewellery.
Katie describes her creations as ‘luxury and decadence designed for naughty urban girls and boys who want to make a lasting impression…’

The New Collection: Provocative!
The new collection will present a more feminine style; Mademoiselle Libertine is inspired by the scandalous 17th century French courtesan Ninon de Lenclos: smoky quartz cocktail ring and collar necklace, Biwa black pearl collar and bracelet and orange citrine and black pearl necklaces are chosen by the designer Katie Rowland to express the scandalous 17th century courtesan style.
Katie Rowland is a successful graduate from Kingston University, selected in 2003 to take part in Nesta’s ‘Creative Pioneering Training Programme’, designed to teach and celebrate young creative’s business skills required to be entrepreneurial in the creative sector.
In 2007 Katie combined her passions for jewellery, fashion and design to form the increasingly successful Ring Leader Urban Jewellery.
