Why ideas that have been developed 6 months ago are no longer valid? Txell Miras' new collection "Le grand déjà vu" reflects on the seasonal fashion system. This is the first collection she focuses on presenting solely her winter collections, therefore once a year only. Find elaborated patterns with a constructive elements in wools, cottons, colored in black, natural, garnet-coloured and blackberry.
"It is frequent to have the sensation to experience things that we think we’ve already lived, and in fashion it’s even truer. Before you’ve even been able to digest a collection you already need to present the following one. This seasonal voracity submerges you in a state of permanent loop. This effect gets even deeper when it comes to collections which do not follow trends. Why ideas that have been developed 6 months ago are no longer valid ? There is no creative discipline being that much slave to the seasons. There shouldn’t be any. In front of such an excessive situation, “déjà vu” goes with a superlative adjective coming from the movie “La Grande Bouffe” (Marco Ferreri, 1973). An homage to excesses and a peculiar way to say goodbye to life." more design >
