ESMOD Germany (Berlin) Textile visualisations of 'Amusement' Video (YouTube): The international fashion school Esmod Germany presented for the annual 'Sainte Catherine 2010' student show textile visualisations of 'Garden of Beauty', 'Melancholic Ruins of a Glittering Night', 'The Magic of Intoxication/Real Utopia/Vanishing Paradise'.
Video: Recently, another team work of Anja Diefenbach premiered on stage. German fashion designer Michael Michalsky created around 500 customized costumes for the ensemble (over 100 persons on stage) of the revue 'YMA - zu schön um wahr zu sein/too beautiful to be true' at the theatre Friedrichstadt Palast Berlin (premiere September 2010). The trailer on this page shows costumes for dancers, acrobats... who appear in the story about the world of the stylish female character 'YMA', which is spiced with "seductive bodies, aesthetic provocation, and cultivated madness" Friedrichstadt Palast. For the Esmod show on 13 December in Potsdam, Anja Diefenbach and the students translated the ideas of entertainment, amusement, sensuality, and luxury into 150 historical inspired fashion pieces that were presented as the 'Barocco-Code'-collection on stage. Esmod supports with the purchase of the event self-help groups in Kenya (www.i-magine.org). |
